We offer you a choice of transportation to the delta. You may go by private car, or for the adventurous, motorbike. If you choose to motorbike be forewarned, it can be a long ride if you are not used to it, and the road leaving and entering Ho Chi Minh City is taxing. This can be a sunny tour, so please use sunscreen. Drive times follow.
HCMC to My Tho = 70Km -> 2 hours (1.5 hours by car)
My Tho to Ben Tre = 30Km -> 45m (same by car)
Ben Tre to Tra Vinh = 25Km -> 45m (same by car)
Getting to Tra Vinh is half of the fun. On the way, enjoy a breakfast of My Tho noodles, broken rice, and your choice of meats. Dong Tam snake farm is next, followed by Tien Giang Province’s largest and most famous pagoda, Vinh Trang. Then it’s off to Mrs. Ly’s country house in Ben Tre for lunch and cultural exchange. After that, continue over narrow bridges and roads, to a small and large ferry crossing. You have arrived in Tra Vinh. We will check you into your hotel, where you can freshen up and relax before dinner. The flora you see on this tour is fantastic!
